AI music is allowed. Spotify targets spam, impersonation, and unauthorized voice clones, and labels AI Personas.

Conditions & limits

• AI voice clones of an artist are only allowed with that artist's authorization.
• A music spam filter targets mass uploads, duplicates, SEO hacks, and very short tracks.
• AI Persona profiles get badges and are left out of editorial and algorithmic recommendations unless the listener follows them. They are not eligible for sponsored recommendations.
• The 1,000-stream royalty threshold applies.

Voluntary AI Credits (DDEX standard) sent by your distributor (beta since April 16, 2026). You can self-disclose AI Persona status in Spotify for Artists.
