Can I Release This? is a free tracker of the rules distributors and streaming services apply to AI-generated music, made for people who create songs with Suno and similar tools.
It is run by Jay Merz, an independent artist who releases AI-assisted music and kept running into conflicting answers about what is allowed where.
How the information is checked
- Every rule is summarized from the platform's own help pages, terms or official announcements, and each page links those sources.
- Each platform page shows the date it was last verified and when the rule last changed.
- Changes are logged in the changelog, and newsletter subscribers get an alert.
